How to view Account Insights on Instagram?

You can use Instagram insights to learn more about your account’s followers and performance. You can also view insights on your audience’s engagement with specific posts, stories and IGTV videos. If applicable, insights and metrics about your account include paid activity as well.


Before you begin:

You need to have a business or creator account on Instagram.

To view account insights:

Step 1: Go to your profile.

Step 2: Tap the Insights action button.

Step 3: You can also view Insights by taping option button in the upper right corner, and than Insights.

Step 4: Tap the metrics under the Overview section or specific content you’ve shared for a more detailed breakdown.

Keep in mind that you'll only see insights for content you've posted since you converted to a business or creator account.

Note: Insights are only available on the Instagram mobile app.
